The president obtained a CRM platform (Reynolds and Reynolds Inc, very popular in the Automotive Dealership industry) that was to automate the entire sales process. The platform was anything but user friendly. Due to its complexity, I was charged with overseeing it and training management when needed. The R&R platform remains one of my most frustrating tasks due to it's unfriendly User Interface.
CRM Marketing. I became very adept at querying the database to produce large mailing lists. I would be called upon by management to take a monthly marketing “theme” and harvest the names from the database (i.e. SUV owners bought or serviced here 12 to 24 months ago), then create the printed media, contract with the printer and the mailing company then study the results for ROI.
